Oh Monday...

Good morning dear friends!

I hope your weekends were are wonderful, relaxing, and productive as mine was! Greg and I got to spend some really nice quality time together this weekend and really that is all I could ask for :) On top of that I had time to make some really fun things I've been wanting to make. Here's a little sample:

I did my FIRST embroidery project ever! I think it turned out quite lovely! I was inspired by Margaret Oomen's "lichenscapes".  Her blog {Resurrection Fern} is really awesome and you should all check it out :) Now for the embroidery! {{{Tell me if you can see which lichenscape I based it off of}}}

I also made two t-shirt bags from old t-shirts that don't fit anymore but I love too much to throw away. I found the tutorial for this awesome "no sew" project here. Although, I did end up doing a quick stitch around the edges for some added support since my tees were really old and thin.

You see? Quite productive! I hope you have a great day friends, and I'll see you all tomorrow morning.

xoxo

  2. Thank you for the compliment Margie! I really appreciate it! Thank you for the inspiring photos :) I'll let you know if I make any more from your photos. But I think I might use some images from a book about organisms my husband has. This is fun fun fun. I really enjoyed making that one.

  4. Hello Anonymous,

    Both of my projects in this post are linked to other people. The lichenscape embroidery is based off of several photos from Margie, who I linked to. And the t-shirt bags I made based on a tutorial on another persons blog who I also linked to. I did not take credit for those ideas, I clearly gave credit to the other blogs.
