Featured Artist::: Alisa Burke /// HANNA

Good Morning Amigas {and Amigos},

Our artist today is someone from our own blogging community. I also have the great honor of sponsoring Alisa's blog this month so be sure to check it out! Her "about me" says it all so I'll let you read that: Alisa Burke is a freelance painter and mixed media artist who studied fine art at Portland State University. With a background in painting and printmaking, a desire to explore and push materials, Alisa is always looking for new ways to break the rules and redefine art.  She draws inspiration from street art, graffiti, art history and fashion and it is not uncommon to find her digging through the trash in hopes of recycling something unique to use in her artwork.

On to the images! Alisa's work is so unique and fresh, I just can't get enough of it!

Alisa has so many other fun things to look at. Be sure to visit both her blog and her website!

One more thing before I go.... Have you seen the movie HANNA yet!?!?!?!?!? If you haven't, you MUST. But I suppose if you're not into action thrillers, you could settle for listening to the sound track. Its amazing also :)

OH YEAH! And don't forget about my GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!!

xoxo,
Janee

  2. Alisa's work is lovely. I wish I could paint!

I've been waiting for Hanna since the very first sneak preview came out forever ago. I can't wait, but I have the nasty feeling I've already guessed the plot line. I tend to do that all the time, and ruin my own movies!
