Interrogation::: Abbey {Aesthetic Outburst}

Good Morning Everyone!
Today's "Interrogation" features Abbey from Aesthetic Outburst! I'm really excited to have Abbey here today because Aesthetic Outburst is one of my very favorite blogs. As soon as I found it I was hooked, and I'm sure you all will be too. There are always exciting things to see {and WIN!}, new ideas to experiment with, and lots of fun adventures with her adorable kids. I hope you will take the time to check out all of her links below! Welcome Abbey!

1. Tell us a little bit about you as a person.

   For someone who shares so much of her life online, you’d think this would be an easy question to answer. It’s not though! Here are some random facts: my husband and kids make me laugh every day; thoughtfulness is the quality I appreciate most in others; I change around our house regularly; I don’t like to play board games or sports; we have a lot in common with my parents and spend a considerable amount of time with them; I’ll read anything set in front of me; I’ve worn glasses since 7th grade; and my husband and I eloped almost 9 years ago.

2. Tell us how/why you started Aesthetic Outburst

   Aesthetic Outburst started as a way to keep in touch with family and friends when I was pregnant with our first baby. In many ways it remains that, it’s just grown a bit. We’ve moved a few times, finished college, had two babies, and now I’m a full-time blogger living in a tiny town in upstate New York. It’s still hard for me to believe that anyone besides my mom wants to hear what I have to say.

3. What are some of your favorite things about blogging and your blog in particular?

   Meeting interesting and creative people is definitely my favorite thing about blogging.

4. What networking do you to that you feel most helps your blogging business?

   I think that being considerate, friendly, and genuine is the best approach to take with regard to blogging. Here’s a simple rule that I follow: if you like what someone is doing or making, take a minute to just tell them! It’s not always easy to reach out to people you admire, but keeping this rule in mind makes it easier. I also try not to say anything online that I wouldn’t say to someone in person.
   As far as the technical side of blogging goes, you can find me daily chattering away on:

Twitter          Flickr          Etsy          Pintrest

{{{Be sure you check out each of these links!}}}

5. What is your favorite or least favorite post on your blog?

  Staycation is one of my favorite posts. We had such a great time camping in the backyard (of all places!) and the photos always make me smile. As far as least favorite post goes, I’ll keep that one a secret. :)

6. What can we look forward to on Aesthetic Outburst?

   It’s going to be an exciting year! We just bought a 150-year-old farmhouse, which we’ll start renovating within the next month. That’s a pretty major project that I’ll be sharing with Aesthetic Outburst readers...for the next 150 years. Ha! We certainly have our work cut out for us.

And now for something silly to wrap us up:

7. What is something that doesn't exist but you wish did?

   I‘d like some sort of machine that prevents my babies from growing up too fast and that keeps the people I love healthy and safe.

Thank you so much Abbey for coming to visit us today! It was really fun having you here! Next week we will be hearing from Lola of Lola Nova. I'm really looking forward to this interrogation as well :)
See you tomorrow friends!
xoxo
Janee
