Relative Success

I'm sure some of you are wondering how I've done two posts already today and said nothing at all about the craft fair! Well... There is both good news and bad news.

The bad news is, it was very small. Smaller than I had expected. I mean really small. We weren't able to set up our booth the way we had intended to at all. Not including the fact that it was outdoors.. which meant it was cold and windy. The worst thing possible for a fair. That wind really pissed me off.

The good news is, it was a relative success. The Beard went around and took a general survey and it would seem out of everyone we sold the most items. And we got to meet a few really cool people.

So at the end of the day we walked away encouraged, and ready for the next craft fair! Which came up much sooner than I expected. We will be showing at Sew Funky Craft Fair on July 9th in Riverside CA. You should all check it out, its going to be really cool.

See you tomorrow friends!

  3. You just never know how a craft fair will go, so I am glad that you were encouraged and have plans for more!

    I love your booth banner!

  4. I hope I'm included in being one of those cool people (from The Mother Company!) We only sold four DVDs so don't worry! And I've worn the scarf I bought from you like every hour since I met you, so...I'd say it was a success for all!

  5. Oh Janee, I'm so happy that it was successful!

Perhaps it being small was somehow a good thing? Silver lining any where?
