Today's artist is Tokujin Yoshioka. He was born in Saga Prefecture, Japan in 1967, graduated from Kuwasawa Design School in Tokyo, studied design under Shiro Kuramata (1987-1988) and Issey Miyake (1988-1992) and went free-lance in 1992. {{{Source}}}
His work is so peaceful. It's been so hot here recently that looking at his work somehow makes me feel cooler, even if just in my imagination :)
Pretty awesome stuff huh? I especially like #5 the snowflake image. It feels to me like walking into a fantastical snow storm and being swallowed by sublime, crushing beauty. And that Swarovski display? Whoa...
