We are almost 500 strong, and I usually do at least one giveaway every week... so why do the giveaways only get 30 or so entries??????????
Where are you all at!?!? Don't you want some really awesome free stuff?
If there is something deterring you from entering the giveaways please let me know so I can make them more accessible.

On a similar note: If you are hesitant to leave a comment on any given post because it appears that I never respond to comments, NEVER FEAR! I respond to each and every one. I reply to comments via the email sender instead of on the blog post page. That way I can actually get to have a little conversation with everyone :)

ReplyDeleteI think some people don't read every time, but also know that I only enter giveaways if it's something I really know I'd love to have or have someone I could gift it to that would. I leave the opportunities for other things for those who want them more, you know?

maybe some are hesitating because people don't have a great opinion of those who are entering contests to get free stuff and they are too ashamed to be that "kind of person". I really don't know why is this happening. maybe they don't check blogs regularly? it would be interesting to make a little survey about how people read the blogs they join to and how often. I read via google reader so I'm more or less always on track but I read somewhere that not many people use readers.

ReplyDeleteI don't enter for a couple of reasons. One is that I get behind on my blog reading sometimes. I use google reader and read stuff in order from newest to oldest most of the time. The other reason is that I kind of feel like I have it all. That sounds hokey. But I really like the blogs I follow because they're a source of information and inspiration, not because they give stuff away. Admittedly, there are a couple of blogs I follow because their giveaways are better than their regular posts... but you're not one of them.
yes, I also sometimes get behind on reading blogs I follow in my reader ... your giveaways end in about 5 days which is maybe too soon for some. I have two accounts for google reader, one I check daily and one maybe once a week ... so it depends on how many people see it. I'm kinda the opposite to rilojane (or at least I had been a few months ago). I was so broke that I started to enter cute giveaways to get fashion accessories because I couldn't afford any. I've won a few giveaways since then and I actually have a feeling that I have "more". so now I only enter when it is something I really really want. :) regarding that not many are entering ... can I enter again if I have already won? :P
