Today I have a confession to make. I'm a nerd. A geek to the max. I LOVE STAR WARS. {{{Side note: I love the REAL Star Wars. Not the terrible schlop of poorly casted and directed actors delivering poorly scripted lines that they pretend could possibly be part of such an amazing legacy}}}. Just to give you a better understanding of how very serious I am, here is a story I told SewTara a while back:
Fact: approx 6 years ago I was given a book to test your Star Wars knowledge along with the Star Wars version of Trivial Pursuit. I “studied” just a little bit before giving them a go. After a day or two of brushing up my knowledge I challenged my brother to read me every question in the trivial pursuit box. I knew every answer. Then I took the test in the book, I got the highest level. Oh yes. I was a Star Wars ultra nerd.
But that's not all. I had a notebook {{{you know one of the giant 4 inch ones}}} FULL of Star Wars playing cards. I had figurines. And to this day my super duper awesome metal Millennium Falcon sits on my nightstand. Every INCH of my bedroom walls was plastered with Star Wars posters and paraphernalia. When they re-released Episodes 4, 5, and 6... I saw each one in theater 4 times. I'm serious. I'm not making any of it up.
Are you still with me? Or did I loose you somewhere around, "I LOVE STAR WARS"? If you're still with me, and if you know anything about Star Wars, and if you like to read funny things, please press on.
Now I present you with more nerdy-ness. I saw these and literally almost died. You think I'm kidding but I'm not.
{{{YES. I will be making some, if not all, of these.}}}

Hey, kid. That trash compactor you designed is up and running and I've got to say it looks great. Lots of grime, a magnetically sealed hatch that can't be opened from the inside, a tentacled garbage creature that practically serves no purpose at all. It's got everything a salty old janitor could ever want.
One thing, though. It takes an awful long time to flatten garbage. I'm talking a minute or more, depending on how many flimsy poles I toss in there. If our capital ships can boogie at faster than light speeds, why can't we make a few walls slide toward one another at a speed that outpaces a Hutt's leisurely stroll?

WOOO! Are you kidding me? Are you freaking kidding me!? These AT-ATs rule!
I cannot believe how awesome they are. I'm personally piloting one on our upcoming operation on Hoth and I can't wait to stomp on those rebel scum. There's like, no way to stop these things. I'm a big fan of yours, man. Big fan.
Good, huh? Yeah. I could keep going all day... but I won't. I'll be done. I promise nothing like this will ever happen on my blog again. I just needed to get it out. {{{A second side note: I love Harry Potter almost as much. But I have better things to do with my time as an adult than I did as an adolescent. Thank goodness.}}}
And as a reward for those of you who have made it this far I've got something a bit more worth while to share with you. I recently was introduced to the blog Color Collective. Its really really awesome and I've gained tons of inspiration from it and you should all go check it out right away. Here are some of the images I've loved the most from them:
{{{So good}}}
May the force be with you,
