California to Boston Part 1::: Before the Deer

Hello Again!

We finally have internet! The Beard and I are getting settled into our new apartment and loving it. I wish I could have you all over for dinner... sadly only 4 or 5 of you would fit at a time. Hahaha.

I hope you all are ready for a massive overload of images from the trip! On days one and two we drove through California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and started into Missouri.

 {{{The Beard fell asleep before we were even out of California!}}}

{{{Luna Bird was so brave even though he didn't like being in the car for so long.}}}

{{{We had a hard time saying good-bye to some very dear friends.}}}

{{{This definitely helped the trip go by faster!}}}

 The big highlight was getting to see the Grand Canyon. I'd never seen it before! It's amazing! I definitely felt overcome with how huge it is, and in turn overcome with how huge the God who created it is.

After the Grand Canyon we saw the flatest land we'd ever seen. You could see endlessly in every direction without so much as a hill in sight. It was CRAZY!

Then we entered Missouri... Bum bum bum... {{{Insert horror movie soundtrack here}}}

{{{All photos taken with my iPhone.}}}

I'll be back tomorrow with part 2! Hope you all have a really great day!

xoxo

  1. I took most of that trip last summer and had such an amazing time. I love the Grand Canyon and New Mexico. We stayed in a motel on HWY 66. To say I loved that trip is an understatement. It may have been the best trip I've ever taken.
