Interrogation::: The Curious Pug

Hi Friends!

I hope you're all having a great weekend! Today I'm happy to introduce you all to a new friend of mine Alycia from The Curious Pug. She's so fun I know you guys are going to love her.

1. Tell us a little bit about you as a person.

   Hey there! My name is Alycia and I'm a wife, dog mom, book worm, crafter, blogger, and sarcasm lover, though not in that order! My husband and I have two dogs Monty and Mabel who keep us entertained and under their full control because of their cute faces. I'm a sucker for anything cable knit or inspired from the 80s.

2. Tell us how/why you started The Curious Pug

   I started The Curious Pug in November 2009 to originally go along with my Etsy shop, but it has since evolved into a lifestyle blog once I realized how much fun blogging was. It also serves as a place to keep and share all of my craft projects and creative resources I want to share with others.

3. What are some of your favorite things about blogging and your blog in particular?

   My favorite thing about blogging is the connections you make with others who have similar interests...or who may not have any similar interests with you at all! That's what's so great about blogging; just about anyone can find someone else out there that is like them, or going through similar walks of life as them. I also enjoy sharing craft projects I've been working on and am always on the look out for inspiring craft tutorials or DIYs.

4. What do you do when you're not blogging?

   I'm a dog mama so I'm usually playing with the pups, managing my new online pet boutique, reading dystopian or horror stories, job hunting, or crocheting.

5. What networking and/or social media site do you enjoy the most?

   I enjoy twitter the most, but recently I installed Disqus on my blog so it makes commenting more interactive and I've been having fun with that too.

6. Who are some other bloggers that inspire you?

   I have a ton of favorite blogs for one reason or another. I seriously have over 300 blogs that I subscribe to in my Google reader. But Kaelah from Little Chief Honeybee is an inspiring blogger to me. She's a business owner, dog mama, and recently a step mama to the cutest little kiddo, and she really seems to have her stuff together. She's always interactive and nice with her readers too which is something I admire.

   I also get my daily dose of eye candy on Casey's blog, Plus 3 Crochet. Her projects are fantastic and she always uses the most deliciously colored yarns!
