Rainbow Smoothie Recipe

Hey friends! New smoothie recipe time. It's pretty similar to the everyday smoothie but with more veggies added in. 

When I was thinking about what to call it I realized there was an ingredient for every color of the rainbow. So that's cool.


Ingredients:::
1 Banana
1/2 Apple
1 Orange
10 Almonds
1/2 Tbsp. Chia seeds
1/4 C. Sugar-free cranberry juice
1/4 C. Nonfat plain Greek yogurt
1 Scoop vanilla whey powder
1 Tbsp. Honey
6 Baby carrots
1 C. Frozen fruit
2 Big kale leaves {or 1/2 C. frozen kale}

FYI this makes two servings - a huge stein for me and a shot glass for The Beard. Hahaha.

  1. That really is cool! And that's the rule too, right? Include as many colors in a meal as you can! Works for the Japanese:)

  2. i always assumed you can't smoothie oranges? this has got loads in it and loads i love. i'd add protein powder too.
